Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1996, in Miami Florida. She is half English one-half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father was an Argentine who had Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother is Spanish and English heritage. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's previous marriage. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria part in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatizing and that she didn't learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was required to take her. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in productions of the school. She quit high school when she was 16 in order in order to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress at a young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
