Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th, 1967) is an American performer and actress. Wuhrer began her career as a teenager and is best recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders as well as her role as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and automobile salesman. Her father was the eldest of her three siblings. While she was a kid, Wuhrer sang at clubs and went out to perform. Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American actress and model, was born in Brookfield, CT, on April 28, 1967. She was born April 28 the 28th of April, 1967 at Brookfield Connecticut. Her mother works as an accountant for payroll, while her father, a German-American, is a policeman and car salesman. Kari is the youngest of three siblings. When she was a teenager, she sang at nightclubs as she slipped out for performances. Kari started acting in the Wooster School when she was 13 and then went further to pursue a degree in drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the renowned Uta Hagen. Kari started acting when she was a teenager. Her first breakthrough occurred in 1987, when she was introduced to MTV Remote Control.
